Complete mold kit for a hollow star ornament
Ready-to-print thermoform kit for a hollow star ornament: heat a thin plastic sheet, press it between the female and male molds, and it takes the shape of the star as a glossy shell. Each shell closes onto a printed base plate, and the two halves join into one hollow hanging ornament — no customization needed, just slice, print and form. The formed star measures about 9.5 × 9 cm (design 96.5 × 93 mm).
Complete kit: the ZIP carries the mold pair, base plates and closures, ready to slice and print
Two closure styles: Connector (screw caps + clips; two caps and clips hold the pair shut, and both hanging-hole markers are cut through for a ribbon or cord) and EdgeRim (glued edge rim with an extra rim that keeps everything together with a single thread, one cap; no holes are cut), each in its own folder
Material split: the molds are preferably printed in PETG so they don't stick to the PLA base when it gets hot during forming (PLA fuses to PLA; PETG doesn't); base plates, rim, caps and clips print in regular PLA
Plating options: each set includes a Full plate (everything at once) and Left/Right plates (one half each), plus separate Molds and Connectors files (the EdgeRim set also has a separate Rim file)
Customizable version available: this printable is the ready-made counterpart of the Thermoform Generator model
