Every letter and number ready to print at 250 mm
The ready-to-print companion to the customizable Rattan Letters model it sits under — that model takes a plate size and fits the letters to it, while this set is already rendered at its defaults. Print the characters you need to spell anything, with no customizing and no credits spent on a render.
Every letter and number: A to Z and 0 to 9 — 36 folders, 72 files. Each folder holds (the frame) and (the woven rattan back that snaps into it)
Drawn for a 256 mm plate: Bambu A1 / P1S / X1C size, filled with 3 mm of air per side. Every character is 250 mm tall; W is the widest at 195 mm, A is 148 mm, I the narrowest at 65 mm. Every piece prints on its own plate, flat, no supports. A smaller printer needs the customizable model instead, which fits the letters to whatever plate you give it
Two colours, no hardware: frame and woven back are separate files in separate filaments; the back snaps in from behind, with no glue and no screws
One set of defaults: Bebas Neue, 3 mm offset, 12 mm border — one set of settings for the whole pack, so characters printed at different times match. Bebas Neue is condensed, which is what lets the set stand 250 mm tall on a 256 mm plate
Measured print figures (A1, 0.4 nozzle), per character, scaling with the character's width: W (195 x 250 mm, the widest) — Border 4h11m, 93g filament at 0.16mm; Rattan 5h03m, 33g at 0.08mm. A (148 x 250 mm) — Border 2h54m, 64g at 0.16mm; Rattan 3h07m, 20g at 0.08mm. I (65 x 250 mm, the narrowest) — Border 1h59m, 45g at 0.16mm; Rattan 1h40m, 11g at 0.08mm
Recommended Settings:
: 0.08mm layer height (High Quality) - the strand crests are cut flat at 1.24mm, which only lands on a layer boundary at 0.08mm (1.24 = 0.2 + 13 x 0.08)
: 0.16mm High Quality profile
Plate: one character per plate, front face down and flat on the plate. The set is drawn for a 256mm plate: every character is 250mm tall and up to 195mm wide (W).
