Per-letter rattan frames with snap-in woven backs
Spell any word of up to 12 letters in rattan, with each letter printed as its own two-colour piece. Font, stroke weight and frame width are all adjustable, and you give the model your plate size rather than a letter height.
One piece per letter: each letter is a separate frame with its own woven back panel, up to 12 letters per word
Continuous weave: the weave pattern runs across the whole word, as if the letters had been cut out of a single sheet of cane
Snap-in back: the woven panel clicks into the frame from behind — no glue and no screws
Multipart export: frames print in one file and weaves in another, so one slice covers the whole word at the right layer height
Print setup: every piece prints front-face-down with no supports; 0.08mm for the weave and 0.16mm for the frames
Fitted to your plate: tell it the plate you have and every letter is drawn as large as fits it — width as well as height, so the widest letter of the word still prints
Wall gap: Wall_Gap leaves an air gap behind the weave so it never touches the wall
Recommended Settings:
Rattan.3mf: 0.08mm layer height (High Quality) — the strand crests are cut flat at 1.24mm, which only lands on a layer boundary at 0.08mm
Border.3mf: 0.16mm High Quality profile
Print every piece front-face-down, flat on the plate
