Wall-mounted letter with woven rattan face and name
A large decorative letter with a woven rattan face and a name laid over it in two colours, mounted on the wall. It prints as three pieces that assemble by snap fit, with no glue and no screws.
Any letter, any name: Pick the letter and type the name; the name and its border sit in a sunken seat on the front of the frame
Snap-fit assembly: The woven rattan back clicks into the frame from behind — three pieces, no glue or screws
Hidden wall mount: The hanging loops print as one body with the rattan back, and the frame has a channel for them, so the plaque sits flat against the wall and the nail head hides inside the plaque's own depth
Air gap behind the weave: The frame runs deeper than the fit needs, so the rattan panel never touches the wall
Multipart, face down, no supports: Every piece prints flat on the plate; 0.08mm layer height is suggested for the rattan, 0.16mm for the rest
Measured print: The 197 x 234 mm Elisa example takes about 9h40m and 138g on an A1 with a 0.4 nozzle
Recommended Settings:
Rattan: 0.08mm layer height (High Quality) — the weave crests are cut at 1.24mm and only land on a layer boundary at 0.08mm
All other parts: 0.16mm High Quality
Print Time & Filament (A1 with 0.4 nozzle, measured on the Elisa example — these figures are for that one size and scale with the letter):
Elisa (197 x 234 mm) - Rattan 4h08m, 27g filament - 0.08mm
Border: 2h53m, 60g - 0.16mm
Name plate (name + name border print together on one plate): 2h36m, 51g - 0.16mm, of which name border 35g and name 16g
