Business card with embedded fabric, optional NFC and QR code
A business card that embeds a piece of fabric (organza or tulle suggested) between print layers, with optional NFC sticker and QR code. The fabric is inserted during a print pause and held in place by the following layers.
Fabric insert: pause on layer 2 to place the fabric (held with magnets on the side), then resume printing
NFC option: pause on layer 5-6 (2 layers from the end), add the NFC sticker then the fabric; the fabric holds the sticker in and the card doesn't close on the other side
QR code support: use a very short link to generate the simplest QR code possible
Bed adhesion notes: tiny letters can slip — lower print speed, keep the bed very clean, and print fewer cards at once
Related holder: a companion business card holder exists, printed on its side with fuzzy skin as an optional finish

Fabric Pause:
Regular card: add a pause on layer 2, place the fabric (hold it with magnets on the side), then continue the print
With NFC: add a pause on layer 5-6 (2 layers from the end), add the NFC sticker then the fabric, then continue
Tips:
Lower the print speed — bed adhesion is difficult and tiny letters slip easily; keep the bed very clean and print fewer cards at once
Suggested fabric: Organza or Tule
Business card holder: print on its side (the orientation the file comes in); fuzzy skin is optional for a different finish
